The information, data and financial documentation on the website of Cornèr Banca LTD and, in particular, on the web pages dedicated to Cornèr Banca LTD structured products (hereinafter referred to as the “website”) are intended exclusively for persons domiciled in Switzerland. Users who do not meet these requirements are not permitted to have access.

Information on risks
The financial products contained in and/or represented on the website, and in particular structured products, are not suitable for all investors. Structured products are financial instruments that are more complex than direct investments and can therefore carry various risks which may be higher than those inherent in direct investments. These products are offered privately or publicly by an issuer. Their redemption value depends on the performance of one or more underlying assets. They may have a fixed or unlimited term and be composed of one or more components. Structured products may be traded on stock markets but this is not mandatory.
Each structured product has its own risk profile, as the risks attached to its underlying assets increase, decrease or are eliminated. Typical risks connected to structured products are:
Issuer risk: The risk of the debtor of a structured product (the issuer) becoming insolvent. Structured products are not segregated from the issuer’s assets and therefore they are not protected in the event of the insolvency of the said issuer. The value of the investment therefore depends not only on the performance of the individual underlying assets but also on the solvency of the issuer and can change during the life of the product.
Liquidity risk: The risk of not being able to sell the investment at any given moment at adequate prices. In the absence of a liquid market, investors are exposed to the risk of having to keep a financial instrument until maturity or of having to sell it before maturity at an unfavourable price. It can be difficult or impossible to calculate a fair price or compare prices because often there is only one market maker.
Market risk: Corresponds to the market risk of the underlying assets.
Exchange rate risk: Exchange rate risk relates to negative effects on the redemption value and the secondary market price of the product caused by fluctuations in exchange rates.
Structured products do not, under any circumstances, constitute a share in collective investment schemes under the Swiss Collective Investment Schemes Act (CISA) and are therefore not subject to approval by the Federal Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and the related supervisory activities.
The documentation concerning structured products contained in and/or represented on the Cornèr Banca LTD website does not constitute a prospectus under articles 652a and 1156 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
The website and the information and documents contained therein do not represent, nor may they be construed as, investment advice or as an additional basis for decision making, or as a financial recommendation, or as legal advice, tax advice and/or any other form of advice. They do not, under any circumstances, substitute the qualified advice of an expert, which is necessary before all investment decisions, particularly as regards the risks pertaining to such decisions. Please be aware that past performances are no guarantee of future results. Cornèr Banca LTD does not in any way guarantee investor-customers’ returns on its own financial products or on those issued by third parties (no implicit or explicit guarantee on future performances). Cornèr Banca LTD intends, under normal market conditions, to provide bid and offer prices for its products on a regular basis, but does not guarantee a secondary market for such products, or for those issued by third parties, or the price on such a market, or the possibility for investors to sell their investment before a product matures.
